You are required to obtain the necessary permits, before work can begin - please see below for the permit application forms.

Building permits are required for:

Garden/tool sheds, gazebos greater than 100 square feet
New building construction
Garages and carports
Decks
Mobile homes
Renovation, alteration or addition to an existing building
Relocation of an existing building
Basement development in a dwelling unit
Change of use of a building (example: office building to residence)
Swimming pools and hot tubs greater than 2 feet deep
Demolition of an existing building
Temporary buildings
Retaining walls

Development and Building Permit Application Form - ALL projects require this form
Basement Development Form
Deck Development Form
Garage Development Form – Detached
Garage Development Form – Attached

ENERGY COMPLIANCE FORMS:

Submit completed forms with all details and site plan to cao@hepburn.ca. All forms must be complete and payment for permit application must be paid before permit will be approved. Building Permit Fees can be paid via cheque, cash, debit, or via e-transfer to onlinepayments@hepburn.ca
