My name is Jeff Peters. Lived in Hepburn 40 years, graduated in Hepburn. Married to Linda. Coached minor softball. Helped coach minor hockey. Chair of Parks & Rec., small playground, Hepburn’s 75th Anniversary, Hepburn Demo Derby. Inaugural Museum Committee member, back on committee 2015. Worked for Pepsi 38 years, retired  2016, safety committee, assistant shop steward, chief shop steward, bargaining committee for 7 collective agreements. RWDSU member 21 years, President of Provincial Board 4 years. M.B. Church Board of Caregivers Chair, M.B. Church Pastoral Search Team, helped bring Rod & Leanne to Hepburn. Mayor of Hepburn 2016-2020, Chair of Centennial Celebration Committee 2019 for Hepburn’s 100th Anniversary. Have chaired or been president of numerous committees in workplace and Hepburn, gained invaluable experience with union involvement. Recipient of Queen’s 2022 Platinum Jubilee Medal.
