Deidra Prosofsky

My family and I have called Hepburn home for 10 years. Throughout the years I have prioritized volunteerism and civil service; from sitting on various boards, working fundraisers & town events, running the non-profit before and after school program to successfully researching/writing grants to bring in essential services. My commitment to this town and its citizens comes from a genuine and selfless place. For the last two years I have been one of your Councillors, a position which I take seriously and thoroughly enjoy. 

The maintenance and improvement of infrastructure and wellbeing of the public is always top priority. My plan is to explore and pursue more grant writing opportunities to meet community needs. I will continue to support community groups and events from a Town and personal perspective through volunteering, promotion and attendance. I pride myself on keeping an open mind, listening to different perspectives, being transparent, having respectful conflict resolution, dedication to a job and being solution oriented. I would be honoured to represent Hepburn and all its residents as Mayor.
